How Happy are You Compared with Your Country Average? A Test.

By Yvette Vignando - 3rd November 2011

I had to share this - it's very quick and a bit interesting to compare your results with the rest of your country. A happiness test on Scientific American called "How Happy Are You?" with a table for you to see how your happiness compares with other people in your country and the rest of the world.Test your happiness. Positive and negative feelings are measured.

Here's the quiz: How Happy Are You?

My results:

Positive Feelings: I selected 3 positive feelings.

"You have quite a few positive experiences each day. You are not the very highest in terms of being extremely positive, but on the whole you have a lot of positive feelings."

Negative Feelings: I selected 1 negative feeling. (By the way - it was "anger" about a video I saw online - that will be the next post)

"You have few negative feelings. You experience fewer negative thoughts and feelings than many people."

Feelings Balance: My feelings balance is 7

"You are quite positive and only occasionally feel negative. You are generally quite a happy person."

Your Life Satisfaction: My life satisfaction is 7

"Most domains of your life are satisfying to you. In some domains, you would like to see improvement, or one domain is dissatisfying. You are more satisfied than many people, but there are still areas that you want to improve."

How did you go and what country are you from?
